At 08:18 hours, March 29, 2007, the 1×25MW generator unit of NBE’s Kenli Biomass Power Project was successfully connected to the grid for power generation. Since the project was kicked off on June 1st, 2006, the construction has been completed within 10 months. This project is the fifth biomass power project successfully connected to the grid for power generation, following NBE’s biomass power projects of Shanxian, Weixian, Cheng’an and Gaotang.
With a total investment of about RMB 270 million, NBE’s Kenli Biomass Power Project is equipped with one singe-stage extraction condensing turbine power generator with an installed capacity of 1×25000kW, together with one high-temperature and high-pressure special biomass boiler with capacity of 130T/h, for which the fuels is mainly the chopped cotton straws and coppice. |
